Being a home builder in the Des Moines, Iowa area, I witness mass amounts of waste being generated. And with the love I have for our world, I felt compelled to develop a mission to reduce and re-purpose these abandoned materials.  So, I built a cabin from scraps and the Urban Forestry Initiative (UFI) was born!  All proceeds generated from this site will help fuel the  movement.
